Nice, but not much help at the moment. Are there no companies that it WOULD be smart to buy at the moment? If not, how about posting another article when you can tell us about companies that we could actually buy? Thanks. ReplyCalvin

Similar to NAT is Frontline, FRO. At the current price the trailing yield is over 19%. Earnings are reported on 8/29. I'm GUESSING (hoping) that the dividend will also increase beyond the $2.75 level. PE is less than 7. ReplyCalvin

I don't understand why a company doing well is not a good news for economic search engine. Reply7 Companies Raising Dividends In This Tough Market [view article]
Richie Bros increases dividend to 9 cents? Let me run down and buy a whole sack of this stock. Seriously, Richie Bros doing well is not good news for our economic engine. ReplyWhy I Sold Lufkin and Purchased Quality Systems [view article]
QSII is well-managed and competes at the high end. It sells to physician groups, not hospitals. Sales are lumpy: this quarter's "outperformance&q... offsets last quarter's "miss". I like the support provided by the dividend -- although it has always been a "special dividend". We are probably seeing the latter stages of a multi-year base, but it could be months before it clears the base. I remain on the sidelines. Great idea, buy high and sell low. Why didn't I think of that? Oh, and QSII caters to the ambulatory market, much smaller than those $1.95 million hospital systems ReplyEditors
